Need a little cuteness in your life? Ride UTA to one of the baby animal events happening across the Wasatch Front this spring.

This is the Place Heritage Park

Step back in time without leaving the city at This is the Place Heritage Park. Pet baby animals, take a pony ride and learn how the pioneers lived and worked after arriving in Salt Lake City. Baby animal season at This is the Place Heritage Park runs now through May 26. The park accessible via route 3.

Thanksgiving Point

Thanksgiving Point has a working farm where you can see cows milked and cuddle up to your favorite farm friends in a petting zoo. On May 11-12, a special “birthday party” will be held for all the babies at the farm. You can reach Thanksgiving Point by taking FrontRunner to Lehi Station and transferring to route 850, or starting Monday, April 9, new route 864.

Wheeler Farm

The county-owned farm is free to visitors and home to horses, cows, sheep, pigs, turkeys and more. Although there’s not a petting zoo, there are plenty of opportunities to see many varieties of baby farm animals, take a wagon ride and tour a 120-year-old farmhouse. Wheeler Farm is accessible via route 209.

Hogle Zoo

See more than 800 animals over 42 acres at the Hogle Zoo. The zoo is open year-round and is accessible via route 3.
