Project Description: The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) has begun work to install electric charging facilities at the 3900 South Wasatch Boulevard Park and Ride lot. During construction, 16 parking stalls will be closed to accommodate construction equipment. Riders who use this lot are encouraged to find alternative parking arrangements. Customer Service can help riders find alternative parking areas, or riders can check the Park and Ride lot page. The park and ride lot is expected to reopen impacted stalls on May 31, 2024, or when the project concludes. Riders will be notified when work is complete.
Project Purpose and Benefit: UTA is committed to improving its transit system by providing amenities that help make choosing transit easier. Electric charging facilities will help commuters use transit by offering charging for electric vehicles.
