Details: UTA will be performing maintenance on the TRAX Blue Line in Midvale between Midvale Center and Fashion Place West stations, from May 12 to May 27, 2024. A bus bridge will be in place from May 12 through May 18 during construction. Regular Blue Line service will resume temporarily from May 19 to May 21. The bus bridge will resume on May 22 to May 27. Riders should expect 15-to-30- minute delays between Midvale Center and Fashion Place West stations - Riders are advised to begin their trip at either station to avoid delays.

Impacted Stations: Fashion Place West, Midvale Fort Union, and Midvale Center stations

What to Expect:
Expect a longer commute as a bus bridge will be in force between above stations as work is being completed over the timeframe noted above.

Riders: Bus bridge from Midvale Center and Fashion Place West - expect 15-to-30- minute delays.
Alternate Routes: Begin your trip at Midvale Center Station for southbound trips or at Fashion Place West Station for northbound trips to avoid delays.
Area residents: 24/7 construction noise from heavy equipment and vehicles; nighttime construction lighting, noise, dust, and vibration.
Drivers: Construction and traffic control at 7200 South grade crossing from May 22 to May 27

Project Purpose and Benefit:
The project’s purpose is to maintain the Blue Line to continue reliable operations in the Midvale area. Regular maintenance will minimize future construction impacts and improve service quality.
