Mobility as a Service (MaaS) integrates various types of app-based mobility products into a single platform intended to improve an overall customer experience. These products give users the ability to seamlessly plan and pay for a multimodal trip using a combination of public and private transportation services based on a desired route or destination. MaaS modes can include many types of services such as transit, shared micromobility, TNCs (Lyft and Uber), car sharing, and more.
