UTA observes 34th ADA anniversary with celebration of accessibility and inclusion on public transit

WHAT: The Utah Transit Authority will commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act with an annual awards presentation and informational open house. The event celebrates the role public transit has played in improving accessibility and providing a better quality of life for people with disabilities.

The I Ride UTA Award is presented to individuals with disabilities who choose to use UTA’s accessible fixed route bus and rail services, Paratransit, UTA On Demand and Flex Routes as their opportunity to achieve independence through integrated public transit. The I am UTA Award recognizes UTA staff who provide above and beyond customer service to people with disabilities.
